Be blessed if you still can enjoy the colorful world because it is a sign that you are a happy person. Research shows people who are depressed tend to “see” the world around them in shades of gray, at least unconsciously.

Scientists from Germany using retinal scanning to monitor the retinal response to a variety of contrasting colors like black and white. They found that in people who are depressed, their retinas have a lower response on the color contrast compared to people without depression.

This low response is evidence of depression patients even though they were not taking antidepressants. The more severe their depression level, the lower the retinal response to color contrast. Perhaps this is why people who are depressed see the world is not a fun place again.

Further research is needed to strengthen the study. However, if proved, retinal eye examination in the future could become a tool in diagnosis and measurement of depression severity.

Handbags, next to diamonds and maybe shoes, are a woman’s best friend. Not only are they used to hold everything that we hold dear, from our cellular phones to our credit cards, our palm pilots to the papers that will spell the difference between promotion and demotion. Let’s face it, can you imagine a world without the women’s handbag as we know it?

Today, women handbags are not only “receptacles” of your prized possessions but also fashion statements. Handbags are often used to express moods, individuality, style and status. And even though, it is not really worn so close to the body like bloused, skirts and jeans, there are still shapes and styles of women’s handbags that may be flattering and unflattering to a person. Believe it or not, the handbag that you carry can actually add on or lessen the weight that you appear to carry.

Read on and find out just how to choose the perfect shape, size and style of women handbag that will fit your body type and personal style.

Look at the shape.
Choose the shape that is opposite your body type. For instance, if you are tall and thin, look for bags that are more on the rounded side like the hobo or those that are a bit unstructured. This will complement your figure as it would provide a sharp contrast to your body. If on the other hand, you are on the short and heavy side, it is good to carry women handbags that are tall, rectangular or those with really defined shapes. Long and sleek designs will help counterbalance your more rounded figure. Of course, there is no need to buy women handbags that are absolutely reed thin or those with really sharp edges. Silhouettes in soft fabrics and leathers can do the trick. Just remember to stay away from women handbags with rounded designs.

Think of the size
The size of your bag should complement your size. While the shape should be contrasting and complementing, the size should be in proportion. If for example you are quite tall and big for your age, it would be really awkward for you to carry this really small handbag. The same goes with a really petite person while carrying this really big bag. Awkward. Awkward. Awkward.

Closefitting women handbags or those that can be fit right under the arm at breast level can only look great with women who are slim and those who want to emphasize their cleavage. Using these kinds of women handbags are discouraged for people who have big arms and big busts as the short handles tend to emphasize the large sizes. Remember that the length of the handbag or shoulder bag will always accentuate the part it comes near with. If, for instance, the bag hits your bottom half or hip area, then that area of your body will become more focused as the eyes are naturally drawn to it.

Most women look great with handbags and shoulder bags that end in mid-torso as it flatters the waist. To determine if the length of the strap fits you, try it out. If your arm feels cramped, then it is too short. Try out the bag in the mirror and see for yourself if the bag is flattering to you.

And you know that currently, handbag is designed with the lighter weight of around 1.5 kilograms, or 57 percent lighter than two years ago. This was due to the birth of a new generation of iPhone products from Apple Inc. and Blackberry which is more mini, lightweight, and versatile. The equipment was to replace electronic devices like laptops, mobile phones, and a music player that weighs heavily assessed.

In ‘Eat, Pray, Love’, Elizabeth Gilbert writes a deep impression of Ubud (Bali, Indonesia). She is restless with her life in New York City and then finds her own identity in Ubud.

Divorce made Elizabeth caught in a circle of sorrow. She then left the career and all she had to start journey to find her identity. Three countries were visited by her: Italy, India and Indonesia (Ubud, Bali). In Italy, Elizabeth gets worldly pleasures with knowing some man. In India, she earned a heavenly way with a hard and disciplined meditation at the ashram. However, in Ubud, Elizabeth can enjoy both, namely the balance of earthly and heavenly. She remains diligent practice of meditation, as taught by Ketut Liyer, a healer in Ubud to meditate with a smile. She also has many friends of Ubud people which are still firmly holds the tradition. Once healed, she then returned to New York.

Long time ago before Elizabeth told her spiritual journey in Ubud, this city has kept the story about ‘stranger escape’, including from super complicated cities such as Jakarta (the capital of Indonesia). There is someone, a creative director at a large advertising company in Jakarta, willing to abandon her career for the ‘born again’ in Ubud. Her soul was injured due to her husband’s infidelity. And only in a matter of hours, she decided to move to Ubud and start a new life there. In that small town, she felt healed by the natural atmosphere of calm and peaceful Ubud, trees lush, verdant fields, a light breeze, and the help of a healer from the Batubulan village.

Since the year 1904, Ubud has been visited by the Dutch artist, Nieuwenkamp. In the late 1920s, came two European artist, Walter Spies (Germany) and Rudolf Bonnet (Dutch), settled in Ubud. Together with Tjokorda Gde Agung Sukawati (Bali artist), they established the Pita Maha, an associations of artists. Because cannot get out from the charm of Ubud, Bonnet even bequeathed to ‘ngaben’ ( the way of Bali people to cremate the body, accompanied by traditional ceremony ) his body as Bali people in general. Then, because he passes away in Netherlands in 1978, his ash was sent by mail to Ubud. Finally he was cremated (ngaben) along with Tjokorda Gde Agung Sukawati.

At first glance, Ubud is not much different from other resorts on the island of Bali. At noon, afternoon, or night does not sound a music boom from the cafe or bar. The guests who come to café or bar to have a drink more often entertained by traditional Balinese music, low-pitched music or silence altogether. The Activities in Ubud is also limited until 22:30 o’clock. By midnight, there are no shops, stalls, restaurants, cafes and other outlets that are still open.

Quiet atmosphere plus the life of Ubud community that still holds fast to tradition become an attraction for those who underwent a spiritual attitude. The atmosphere is considered to support the positive energy/power that come from nature.

Ubud has terms of spiritual teachings that are hidden in nature. If these terms are opened, people will be able to read or absorb this spiritual aura. Ubud name itself comes from the word ‘Ubad’, Balinese language means ‘the medicine’. Ethic of mutual cooperation of Ubud community is also a form of their love sense to neighbor. That love birth a positive aura which is captured by the crystal bowl instruments in the nature (earth), like in the fields of corn, rice cultivation, the beach, or the edge of the abyss. In Ubud, they came and healed (Awahoshi).

“I don’t let my mouth say nothin’ my head can’t stand.” …… Louis Armstrong

Julius Fast wrote a book entitled, Body Language in 1970. He talked about a new science called Kinesics. It opened the way to more studies and books on the subjects. Today, the term Body Language is very common and understood as an important element of communication.

In fact, experts in the field of communication suggest that there is a rule that says that 7% of the meaning of what a person is saying comes from their words.

Interestingly, 38% is based on the tone of their voice. 55% of the meaning comes from the body language of the person that is speaking. This rule comes from research that was published in the late 1960’s.

Some now think that the percentages from this research might be slightly different. Nevertheless, the bottom line is still the same. If you don’t know the basics of body language, you are missing a valuable tool for learning how to communicate better. We speak body language on a subliminal level, without actually realizing that we are communicating through body talk.

1. Face
The face has around 90 muscles in it, with about 30 of these purely for expressing emotion. It can thus be used to send many non-verbal signals, using its various features in concert. When you enter a room if you feel nervous, your expression might make you look aloof or unfriendly.

Smiling at the room is a sure-fire way to remove anyone’s doubts about your approachability. Smiling makes us look warm, open and confident. Smiling is also a sign of submission as the person effectively says ‘I am nice and not a threat’.

2. Eyes
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. They certainly give people clues about what we are feeling.
A softening of the eyes, with relaxing of muscles around the eye and a slight defocusing as the person tries to take in the whole person is sometimes called doe eyes. The eyes may also appear shiny.

Looking at something shows an interest in it, whether it is a painting, a table or a person. When looking at a person normally, the gaze is usually at eye level or above. The gaze can also be a defocused looking at the general person.

3. Hands
After the face, hands probably the richest source of body language. It is also worth noting that gestures with the hands vary significantly across cultures and an ‘innocent’ hand signal can get you arrested in another country.

Have you ever watched someone’s hand gestures when they are talking? Open hand gestures tend to make a person appear open and honest. Bringing hands together to a point can accent the point you are making.

Wringing your hands or excessively moving your fingers and hands will give away nervousness. It can even make someone look dishonest- are they trying to hide something?

4. Posture
If you lean towards someone you are showing an interest in that person. If we are feeling low in confidence, we tend to slouch our shoulders and look down.

Men and women use different body language. For instance, women will stand close to each other, hold eye contact with the person they are talking to and use gestures.

Men make little effort to maintain eye contact and don’t rely on the use of gestures to communicate. Men and women can learn how to communicate better by observing the differences in their use of body language.

Since long time, the scientists are confused by the fact that many cases of heart attacks occur in people who seemed in good health and have almost no risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol. So what triggers a heart attack on them? the answer is: look at their temperament.

Negative feelings, including anger, are not just a purely emotional affair, but it can be a bad effect on the physical, such as the heart. At the time when anger overflowed, the hypothalamus (part of the almond-sized brain) which is located just above the brain stem, ordered the adrenal glands to flood the blood with catecholamines and cortisol hormones.

Stress hormones will make the heart beat faster, blood pressure increase, muscles tense, breathing hunt and increases gastric acid. Keeping a negative feelings continuously will caused the platelets are stick easily each other.

In the last thirty years, there is evidence that the way people think, how they feel, and how they overcoming stress are having a strong influence, even fatal impact on the heart. Through thousands of interviews with heart attack patients, the scientists found that easy to get angry behavior, loose control of emotion in the work, separate themselves from friends and family, and continue to be eroded depressed can make the function of cardiac pump function get damage.
Scientists prove that they are who have high temperament even still young age have three-fold risk of heart disease before age 55 years. Research for 7 years found that people who are physically healthy but quickly tense and easily irritated are really vulnerable person.

The 54% of people who get emotions easily were more often affected by stroke and heart attack compared with those who free from negative feelings.

The woman was created as a beautiful creature. And I think, that beauty needs to be maintained properly. Maybe that’s why, beauty salon grows everywhere. Body treatments services which are offerred were very interested for particular women, including me. Treatment is carried out usually includes body care, hair, skin until the nail (manicure and pedicure ). In addition, to maintain the beauty of the body, women also need to do sports, especially gymnastics, body language, or yoga.

Then, do you know if the underwear can help maintain the beauty of the body? not only looked from the outside but I believe that it did take care from the inside. For that reason I am quite selective in choosing underwear such as bras. Bra helped me to make my breasts still in beautiful shape. You know .. almost all women after having 2-3 child, then the form of breasts is no longer beautiful. It’s okay .. it’s very natural .. but the beauty of it shall be maintained not only for ourselves but also for our husband … right? and for reasons of beauty, I always use the Wacoal bras. Wacoal bras have very good quality. It has various and beautiful model. Not only that, the shape or structure of the bra is made in accordance with the form of women’s breasts, so it very comfortable to wear, and even help to maintain a good form of breast. In addition, I also have some Chantelle bras. It has beautiful and sexy shape. Although more expensive than other brands of bras, but I am satisfied because of the quality.

The other women’body that usually becomes main attraction is the hip. After having the child, usually there are fat in the pelvic/hip region that make its shape no longer beautiful. To keep the body still looks beautiful, we need a body shapers. Some products of body shapers will increase our self-confidence when using a tight clothing. You can visit LAVENDER STORE for more product detail.

In today’s society, if you ask a regular person on the street, what people look for in a model, most will say that they have to be pretty and very thin; however, there is a lot that goes into selecting which models to represent. Each agency must take into consideration trends that are occurring with businesses who hire models so these agencies can have the right models for the right businesses to hire. Below is a list of qualities that some companies look for in models which may be surprising to some:

1. Ethnicity. Depending on the client, the model’s race could be a very important factor. Some companies like to have models that have a unique, ethnic look. It also depends on who the agency’s client decides is their target audience. For example, if an agency’s client’s target audience is Asian-Americans, then the agency who hires models to represent would probably choose to hire an Asian-American model.

2. Gender. Like ethnicity, it all depends on what the agency’s client wants. For a client whose target audience is men then the agency should select male models. It would be the same for a client whose target audience is female. For example, a perfume company would usually hire only female models from the agency and a cologne company would probably just hire male models from the agency. Each agency needs to keep this mind when choosing people to represent.

3. Plus size. Agencies that hire models need to be aware of the growing demand for plus sized models for a “real” woman look. Nowadays agencies are beginning to hire more plus-sized models in response to clients’ increasing desire for them. Most companies want these types of models because they are closer to what many American women look like, so in an effort to relate to their audience, companies are hiring more and more plus-sized models, which means agencies have to start contracting more of these models.

Most people do not realize all of the effort that goes into selecting models to represent. Agencies have to know what their clients want to begin with before they even think about contracting new models. Each agency then has to decide how many models of each gender, ethnicity, and size to give contracts to before even seeing the models. Finally, the agencies can begin face-to-face interviews with the models, which is when they must try to find the people who have unique looks which also fit their clients’ wants. It can be very difficult to find the perfect model to extend a contract to with all of these factors that are involved in the decision. Modeling has been an up and coming industry, which does not show any signs of slowing down as companies begin to use all different types of models.

I almost forget when last time I give a gift ...

I almost forget when last time I give a gift for my husband in his birthday. And for his birthday this year, I want to give special gift for that someone I loved. I was thinking hardly for that and start to make a list about whatever stuffs that he needed and special enough for being a birthday gift. And suddenly, when I read a magazine and see the newest of lingerie model, I want to buy them as a gift!!. Oww… of course not for wearing by him but I will wear it in the night of celebrating his birthday and just he and I at home…. Hmm.. how romantic is it.. Right?

I myself do not have much lingerie. I buy and wear it only when I wear tight shirts or pants because lingerie will not make a triangle line that looks from outside as well as using the regular underwear. On the night my husband birthday, sexy lingerie surely will make him fascinated.. aha… This is one way to maintain a sense of love and make him happy I guess.

I start to browse on internet, looking for an online shop which is sold lingerie and finally I found flirtylingerie.com. In here, I found many types of lingerie with various style, colors and beautiful design. The design in each lingerie model was made with great detail and made from material comfort. The user will feel very comfortable and of course sexy.

Shopping lingerie at this time is much more favorable than usual. Ya.. More favorable.. maybe because I will make this lingerie as an ‘indirect gift’ for my husband. It is true if many said that buying lingerie do not simple especially for this time… hmm.. I have to choose the most suitable, beauty and sexy lingerie. I guess flirtylingerie.com has helped me to choose the best one.

Not only lingerie, flirtylingerie.com is also provides a sexy mini skirts. It is very suitable for go clubbing or parties.. very sexy. You can visit LAVENDER STORE for more product detail.

False Fashion is it for you? What you have to ...

False Fashion is it for you? What you have to wear in mind when keeping up with all the newest trend is, that never once were you in the designer/s thoughts when putting his/her creation together.

How many times have you cringed at styles knowing at the back of your mind how hideous you would look dressed in what was designed for the catwalk?

Top designer labels do not come cheap and can be quite expensive leaving you broke because you want to keep up with the Jones’s. Ever felt stupid when attired up to nines to stop the jibes from your friends, keeping up with fashion is all well and good, but if you are not comfortable with your appearance then do something about it. Start by ignoring nasty remarks, true friends do not pass judgement unless in your favour.

It makes sense to put your own fashion ideas to use and into the bargain cost effective. Design your own label? Who knows may be your friends will want a piece of the action. Top designers started this way.

When out shopping; find a shop selling quality gear for half the price of what it would cost to dress in designer gear. You will find similar or duplicated designs to the latest craze in most stores. Is the content of your wallet/purse holding you back from making a purchase. Then get yourself to the local second hand shop and pick up a bargain.

Stick with the trend by wearing the colours in fashion. Charity shops donate to good causes, so as well as looking a million dollars you help the starving people of the world.

Uneasy with the new boob tube where the bare fleshy stomach is on full view, then narrow it down to a glimpse for the onlooker, add a little lace tassels or beads.

Belts do not do down well for the pleasantly plump, okay so we find an alternative. Gather leather strips, braid/plait them together then hang the twisted menagerie loosely around the waist add a little glitter to spice it up, this will not only look effective but complement your size.

How to get away with no boots if money is tight

Buy a closed in shoe then get a matching pair of coloured knee/ankle length socks and hey presto from a distance a pair of boots. How good is that?

What is the point of expensive designer labels when the only person that gets to see that new outfit is you? all because the bank balance states 0.00 where you do not get to party till your next payday, and by then with the fashion industry as it is, the oufit may well be past its sell by date.

False fashion is what it is. Your height, weight, skin type was never taken into account by the designer unlike the rich stars. How on earth can you look your best by other folks choices? Think about it if anyone knows what will suit you? is you.

In its development, bras are not only has function for protecting a breast but also helping to maintain a woman’s beauty and appearance. Padded bras for example, it can help to increase a breast size. Padded bra itself is a bra with extra padding. Padded bra helps to maintain the appearance and woman’s beauty when wearing low-necked dress. With padded bra, woman will look more sexy.

For breastfeeding mother, there are nursing bras. Nursing bra is a maternity bra but with the added engineering of drop down cups so that baby can be nursed without Mom having to take her shirt off. This helps breastfeeding Mom when they were in public area like restaurants or shopping malls.

Herroom.com is the right place if we are going to buy a bra because all types of bra are available with various sizes and beautiful models.
